I fail to understand why so many people think they got it all figured out

"I found my better half"
that's the approximate of saying
"I'm not fully capable of handling my own life yet but i found this person who will compensate"
do people really need a better half?
maybe they should work on the half they got and make that awesome.

"i hope i accidentally fall in a radioactive spill and gain superpowers"
